Terms of use

The terms the surveillance module's site and workspace are used under, stated against what the product is today.

These terms

These terms cover this site and the surveillance module's workspace. By using the workspace you accept them; if you do not, do not use it.

What the product is

This is software being built in the open, offered as it stands. It comes without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and the operator of a deployment may change, pause or stop it.

Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans, credits or subscriptions show their price and what is included before you pay. Payments are collected through Razorpay. We receive the payment status, amount and reference; Razorpay handles your card, UPI or netbanking details, and we never store your card number or UPI PIN.

The introductory subscription is ₹1 for the first three days. Unless you cancel before it ends, it moves to the monthly plan at ₹500, collected automatically through the mandate you approved at checkout. Later months renew at ₹500 until cancelled. The ₹1 and every ₹500 charge are non-refundable once collected. Feature or credit purchases are one-time charges and are non-refundable once the feature is unlocked or the credits are added, as stated in the cancellation and refund policy.

Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You can cancel the subscription from the workspace or by writing to support; cancellation stops the next automatic debit and leaves the current paid period active until its end.

Your account

  • There is no self-service sign-up. Accounts are created through the module's own administration.
  • Keep your credentials to yourself. The module never asks for a password outside the sign-in screen, and no member of this project will either.
  • The module may refuse a sign-in, end a session or withdraw an action it considers outside an account's permissions. Every refusal is stated when it happens.

Acceptable use

  • Connect only cameras and devices you are authorised to connect, and use accounts you are entitled to use.
  • Do not attempt to reach records, cameras or evidence that are outside your permissions, and do not attempt to weaken the module's checks.
  • Do not use the module to watch anybody unlawfully. Whether a camera may be placed somewhere is the law's question and the operator's responsibility, not this software's.

The record the module keeps

The module records who does what: who claimed a camera, who acknowledged an event, who decided an investigation's outcome, and every move in a chain of custody. That record is part of how the product works and is kept for the periods the retention rules state.
